Job Summary

As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for developing SQL databases and writing applications to interface with SQL databases. You will also be involved in designing tables, storing procedures, views, and functions. Additionally, you'll be expected to optimize and maintain legacy systems, troubleshoot queries, and manage data migration.

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

·        Develop, document and improve custom TSQL stored procedures. 

·        Designing and coding database tables to store the application's data.

·        Reviewing query performance and optimizing SQL code

·        Assist and support developers with SQL performance tuning, query tuning and code reviews.

·        Assist Data Architect with Data Modeling and maintaining Entity-Relationship Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, etc. 

·        Compare multiple databases and generate scripts for the differences.

·        Adhere to Project Plan timeline and task tracking, ensuring timely delivery of Database development tasks.

·        Communicate and work well with others; mentoring, guiding and supporting developers with SQL needs.

 

 

Technical Skills:

 

  •  2-4 Years of experience in Database development.
  •  Proven experience as a SQL Server Database Developer, with at least [2014,2017,2019] years of experience.
  •  In-depth knowledge of SQL Server database design, development.
  •  Proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, user defined functions, triggers, joins, sub-queries etc.
  •  Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  •  Familiarity with database modeling and design tools.
  • Knowledge of data integration processes.
  • Strong understanding of Database migration in various other database system.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud services.
